One of the showy members of
Japanese wildflowers, Lilium leichtlinii f. pseudotigrinum,
standing 1-2m in height, rises out of the other vegetation around it
in the grassland, ranging from low- to highland. L. leichtlinii
f. pseudotigrinum can occur even in the marsh. It closely
resembles Lilium lancifolium but lacks brood buds.
