Liriope minor is a miniature perennial in sunny grasslands, propagating by extending runners. Leaves are fine linear-shaped, 10-20cm long, and 2-3mm wide. Flower stalks grow to 10-15cm in height and sparsely set small pale purple flowers on them. Seeds measure 4-6mm in diameter.
