Liriope minor
is a miniature perennial in sunny grasslands,
propagating by extending runners. Leaves are fine, linear in shape,
10-20cm long, and 2-3mm wide. Flower stalks grow to 10-15cm in
height and are sparsely set with small, pale purple flowers. Seeds
measure 4-6mm in diameter. Bloom time: July-September. |
