Litsea coreana: An
evergreen tree that grows as tall as 22m, mingling in Machilus,
Pasania, or Quercus forests in warm districts, with gray-black bark.
The bark becomes round lenticels and falls off by itself, and the
marks form white-spotted patterns associated with a deer. Leaves put
themselves on the upper parts of branches; blades measure 5-9cm
long,1.5-4cm wide, oblanceolate to obovate-like, long oblong, with
tips obtuse, bases broadly cuneate, margins entire, thin and
leathery, and glossy surfaces. Dioecious: Pale-yellow flowers gather
together at the leaf's sides. The inflorescences lack peduncles and
have four involucral bracts. Bloom time: August-September.
