Lysimachia fortunei, a
40-70cm tall perennial herb found in wetlands, extends rhizomes long
to sprout, with bases tinging red. Leaves are in an alternate
arrangement, 4-7cm in length, 1-15cm in width, in the shape of an
oblanceolate-like long-oblong, tips becoming abruptly narrow to grow
into points. Racemes emerging straight upward from stem tips set
many white flowers in them. Corollas measure 5-6mm in diameter.
Bloom time: July-August. |
