Miscanthus sinensis is
a large-sized perennial in fields and mountains, 1-2m in height,
found wherever one goes, with stems that grow in clusters. Leaves
measure 50-80cm long and 0.7-2cm wide, linear, and stiff, with
awfully sandy margins and thick midribs. And ligules equip hairs on
the margins. Inflorescences measure 15-30cm long, and their central
figures are short, emerging with many branches in a radial pattern.
Bloom time: August-October. |
