Ophiopogon jaburan is a perennial herb growing in colonies in coastal forests. Linear and glossy leaves are thick and measure 30-80cm in length 1-1.5cn in width. Flower stalks, rising to 30-50cm in height, are fascinating, having some narrow wings; flowers in racemes are white.
