Oreorchis patens
is a perennial orchid species inhabiting damp forests in mountainous
regions; the oval-shaped pseudobulbs exist underground, and from
each emerge 1-2 leaves and one flower stalk. The leaves are
lanceolate-shaped, 20-30cm in length, 1-3cm in width, and the stalks
measure 30-40cm in height, with many flowers in a racemose portion.
Sepals and petals are lanceolate, approximately 1cm in length, lips
of the same size, and white and red-purple dots. Bloom time:
