Persicaria longiseta is
an annual polygonum species, the height being 20-50cm, commonly seen
on roadsides, fields, wastelands, etc.; the stems are typically
reddish, and the lower parts creep on the ground. Leaves are 3-7cm
long in a lanceolate or broad lanceolate shape, and the tips taper
off to points. Ochreas are cylindrical, 7-8mm long, with long hairs
on their edges. Inflorescences are 1-5cm long, with small red
flowers. Bloom time: June-October. |
