Pertya scandens is
a small deciduous shrub inhabiting sunny, somewhat dry locations in
hilly districts; they grow to 0.6-1m in height, making many branches
at the bases. Leaves on the first-year branches are opposite, in the
overall oval shape, and the two-year ones are fascicled and narrower
- a single flower blooms on each component tops in
September-October. Petals are slender and twisted. Bloom time:
