Phyllanthus matsumurae is
an annual, 10-30cm in height, inhabiting fields or roadsides. Stems
somewhat obliquely decline, and leaves attach the stems and ramus
traverses. The leaves are 0.8-1.2cm long, long oblong to lanceolate.
Axils generate a mixture of 2-4 male and female flowers; the male
flowers have 4-5 perianth lobes and 4-5 secretory portions, and the
female flower's perianth lobes are 6. Female's styles are cleft in
three, and the lobes shallowly in two afresh. Bloom time:
August-October. |
