Pilea pseudopetiolaris is
an annual found in damp places in the shade of a tree in mountainous
regions, with long rhizomes and stems 50-80cm in height. Leaves,
with 3-6cm long petioles, are oval-like long oblong, with sharp
tips, bases orbicular, margins with obtuse serrations, conspicuous
three veins, and sparse hairs on surfaces. Dioecious: Flowers set
themselves in cymes; male flowers measure 1.8mm in diameter and
cleft in four, and female ones with single perianths divided. Bloom
time: August-October. |
