Platanthera mandarinorum var. brachycentron is a
perennial orchid inhabiting a sunny grassland, erecting upward,
20-40cm tall. The leaf in the lowest, narrow oblong, or
linear-oblong shape is incomparably more prominent than the others,
measuring 5-11cm long. Flowers come in light yellow-green in a
raceme, the spur lengthening backward. At times, they may, in shape,
associate with Platanthera nipponica. Bloom time: May-July. |
