Poa annua is
an annual or biennial herb of 10-30cm in height found near houses,
roadsides, or other places. Leaves are 4-10cm long, 2-3cm wide,
linear, and feel soft. Ligules are membranaceous, in a hemispheric
shape, 3-6mm long, and prominent. Conical, 4-8cm tall,
inflorescences are set with many light green spikelets. The
spikelets measure 3-5mm in length, are ovate in shape, and have 3-5
florets. Bloom time: March-November. |
