is an annual herb found in wastelands, dry riverbeds, roadsides,
etc.; the stems branch well and grow up to 2m in height, with nodes
swollen. Leaves are in the lanceolate shape of 15-25cm in length,
and the tips are long and pointed. Ochreas are cylindrical without
hairs on the edges typically. Inflorescences are as long as 3-7cm,
the ends hanging down, with many light red or white flowers in them.
Bloom Time: June-November.
