Polygonum longisetum
is an annual polygonum species, the height being 20-50cm, commonly
seen at roadsides, fields, wastelands, etc.; the stems, typically
reddish, the lower parts creep on the ground. Leaves are 3-7cm long
in the lanceolate or broad lanceolate shape, and the tips are
tapering off to points. Ochreas are cylindrical, 7-8mm long, with
long hairs on their edges. Inflorescences are 1-5cm long, with small
red flowers. Bloom time: June-October. |
