Potentilla indica
is a perennial herb inhabiting tussocks or paddy paths, the whole
being more extensive than another species, Potentilla hebiichigo.
Leaves are dark green, leaflets oval or obovate, 3-6cm in length.
Flowers measure approximately 2cm in diameter. The fruit is
spherical, 1.5-2.5cm in diameter, with receptacles that are dark red
and glossy. Achenes are wrinkle-less and glossy. Bloom time:
April-June. |
