Potentilla indica
is a perennial herb that inhabits tussocks or paddy paths, with a
more extensive range than the other species, Potentilla hebiichigo.
Leaves are dark green, with leaflets that are oval or obovate,
measuring 3-6cm long. Flowers measure approximately 2cm in diameter.
The fruit is spherical, 1.5-2.5cm in diameter, with dark red
receptacles and a glossy surface. Achenes are wrinkle-less and
glossy. Bloom time: April-June. |
