Potentilla nipponica is
a perennial herb inhabiting sunny dried riverbeds or sandy soils,
branching at the bases to spread on all sides. Leaves are
imparipinnate compounds composed of 7-13 leaflets; the leaflets are
aperture, and the backsides are densely white-haired. Flowers are
yellow, 1-1.5cm in diameter; sepals and accessory calyx lobes are
the exact sizes and look white because of dense fluffs. Bloom time:
June-August. |
