Raphanus sativus var. hortensis f. raphanistroides is a biennial herb of 30-70cm in height inhabiting sandy soil on seashores, with leaves 5-20cm long, pinnately, and deeply cleft with significant large terminal lobes. Flowers are light purple, 2-3cm in diameter. Bloom time: April-June.
