Rubus buergeri is an evergreen small vine shrub occurring in forest edges or floors in fields and mountains or the coasts. Leaves are of alternate phyllotaxis, blades being orbicular, 5-10cm both in length and width, shallowly cut in 3-5, margins having dentate serrations that grow to beards. Flowers, white, set themselves on leaf axils or branch tops, 5-10 together in a bundle way. Petals measure 7-8mm, approximately the same as sepals.
