Rubus palmatus var.
coptophyllus is a deciduous shrub that grows approximately
2m in height in sunny places in fields or mountains, with hairless,
straight prickles on stems and branches. The hypotaxis is alternate;
the blades are 7-15cm long, in the shape of an ovate to broadly
ovate, and many palmately cleft in five. Fruit (aggregate fruit),
1-1.5cm long spherical, matures orange-red in June-July. Bloom time:
April-May. |
