Sanicula chinensis is a perennial herb found in mountainous
forests, with stems ranging from 30 to 80cm in height. Leaves divide
themselves into three; the lateral leaflets cleft themselves in two
afresh. Stem apexes bear small umbels, set bisexual flowers in the
center, and stamens around them. Bloom time: July-September.
