Scirpus wichurae is
a perennial plant with an oily smell found in wetlands, fields, and
mountains. It grows in clusters, with a height of 1-1.5cm. Stem tips
produce large corymbs, with 4-8mm-long pikelets, 1-4 in number, that
mature to a red-brown color. Bloom time: July-August.
