Sedum bulbiferum sets bulbils with 2-3 pairs of small
leaves in its axils, which makes new vegetative growths fall off on
the ground, which characterizes this species. This perennial herb
with a 6-20cm height inhabits roadsides or grasslands, the stem
creeping on the ground, the upper part erect or diagonally upwards.
Leaves, 1-2cm in length, are of opposite phyllotaxis at the lower
part of the plant and are oval-shaped, but the upper part alternate.
Flowers, 0.8-1cm, are yellow, bearing no fruit. Bloom time: May-June |
