Sedum sarmentosum
is a perennial found on roadsides and
riverbanks, whose red-tinged stem with no flowers extends crawling
on the ground, having a set of three-leaf whorls at each node. The
pale green to yellow-green leaves measure 1.5-3cm long, 3-7mm wide,
in the shape of a narrow long-oblong or oblanceolate. The 1.5-1.7cm
wide flowers are yellow; the anthers appear orange-red just before
splitting. Bloom time: June-July. |
