Senecio cannabifolius,
a perennial herb inhabiting damp grasslands in mountainous regions,
grows to 1-2m in height. The phyllotaxis is alternate; the leaves
pinnately cut themselves in 3-7, with tips pointed and bases
following petioles. Stem tips bear corymbs which set many yellow
flower heads. The flower heads measure approximately 2cm in
diameter, and ligulate flowers are 4-7 in number. Bloom time:
