a perennial herb that inhabits damp grasslands
in mountainous regions, grows to a height of 1-2 meters. The
phyllotaxis is alternate; the leaves are pinnately cut into 3-7,
with tips pointed and bases following petioles. Stem tips bear
corymbs, which set many yellow flower heads. The flower heads
measure approximately 2 cm in diameter, and the ligulate flowers are
4-7 in number. Bloom time: July-September. |
