Setaria viridis var. pachystachys f. rofescens is
a 5-20cm-in-height perennial herb occurring in seashores. Stems
branch at the bases, fall, and generally spread on all sides in a
rosette way. Leaves are thick and 5-10cm in length. Inflorescences
are 1-4cm long and 1-1.5cm, in an ovate-like oblong, erect, with
dense 1-2cm-long purple bristles at the bases of spikelets. Bloom
time: August-October. |
