Spiraea salicifolia is
a deciduous shrub inhabiting wetland; stems grow dense, 1-2m in
height, with short thick hairs. Leaves are alternate, in a
lanceolate shape, with significantly short petioles, tips pointed.
Branch tops set panicles with light red, approximately
7mm-in-diameter 5-petaled flowers, in which many pistils and styles
bend backward. Bloom time: June-August. |
