Taeniophyllum glandulosum is a
tiny, epiphytically growing orchid on trunks or lithophitically on
rocks. The flat root is short, measuring 2-3 cm in length, and
spreads out on all sides. Leaves are not visible. This species sets
up an approximately one-centimeter-long flower stalk, attaching 1-3
light green flowers. The sepals and petals are connate at the base
to form a tubular flower, measuring 2mm in length, which blooms in
June and July. |
