Taeniophyllum glandulosum is
a tiny, epiphytically growing orchid on trunks or lithophitically on
rocks. The flattish root is short, 2-3cm long, and spreads on all
sides. Leaves are not visible. This species sets up an approximately
one-centimeter-long flower stalk, attaching 1-3 light green flowers.
The sepals and petals connate at the base to make a tubular flower
measuring 2mm in length—which blooms in June-July. |
