Taraxacum pectinatum
is different from T. arakii, both being native to Japan, though.
They closely resemble one another. One of the most significant
differences lies in the shape of leaves; with T. pectinatum, leaves
are deeply split like comb teeth, while with the other, they are
not. Some researcher says they are the same, and Shimane Red Data
Book lists this as a VU. Bloom time: April-May. |
