Teucrium viscidum var. miquelianum
is a perennial that inhabits the shade of a
tree in mountainous regions, with a stem growing to 20-40cm in
height and extending slender runners underground. With 1-2cm long
petioles, leaves are ovate-like oblong, 4-10cm in length, with
glandular hairs all through. Inflorescences measure 3-5 cm long,
densely set with light red, labiate flowers. Corollas measure 8-10mm
in length. Bloom time: July-September. |
