Teucrium viscidum var. miquelianum is a perennial inhabiting the
shade of a tree in mountainous regions, stem growing to 20-40cm in
height and extending slender runners underground. With 1-2cm long
petioles, leaves are ovate-like oblong, 4-10cm in length, with
glandular hairs all through. Inflorescences measure 3-5cm long and
densely set light red labiate flowers in them. Corollas measure
8-10mm in length. Bloom time: July-September. |
