Thalictrum actaefolium,
height 30-60cm, is a perennial herb found in
mountain forests. The whole is hairless. The phyllotaxis is
alternate, with bi- to triternate compound leaves; veins on leaflets
protude. Compound umbels are set 3-4 mm in diameter, with white
flowers; the flowers are petal-less, with four 3-4mm long oblong
sepals and many stamens; filament tips are thicker than anthers.
