Tricyrtis affinis
is a perennial herb that typically grows to a height of 40-70 cm in
mountainous forest regions. Dense, downward-pointing hairs cover the
stem, and the amount of hair can vary among individual plants. The
leaves range in length from 8 to 18 cm. Flowers emerge from the axil
or shoot apex, featuring red-purple spots on the tepals. The
blooming period is from August to October. |
