Trigonotis brevipes / Mizutabirako ミズタビラコ

Trigonotis brevipes is a perennial herb inhabiting locations close to mountain streams. Stems feel soft, grow to 10-40cm in height, and leaves are 1.5-4 cm long, in the shape of an oblong, with fine hairs on surfaces. As with the stems, leaves also feel tender to the touch. Branch tips emerge inflorescences and densely set white to light blue-purple flowers from one to another. Corollas measure 2.5-3cm in diameter. Spike tips bend in a scorpion way. Bloom time: May-June.
