Tripterospermum
japonicum is a perennial vine that typically grows to a
length of 40-80 cm. It thrives in the shade of mountain trees. The
leaves are arranged oppositely and have an oval-lanceolate shape,
measuring 3-5 cm long, with their undersides often displaying a
purple tint. The flowers, or corollas, are light purple and consist
of five petals with folds—this plant blooms between August and
October. |
