Utricularia yakusimensis
is a carnivorous plant that thrives in marshy areas. Its
rhizomes are sparsely dotted with insect-trapping sacs. The leaves
are narrow and spoon-shaped. The flower stems can reach heights of 5
to 15 cm and have a diameter of 1 to 4 mm, accompanied by some
scale-like leaves. This plant typically blooms from August to
