Valeriana fauiei
is a perennial herb found in moist grasslands
in mountainous regions, with stems 40-80cm in height. Leaves exhibit
opposite phyllotaxis, cleft into pinnatisect leaflets with coarse
serrations along their margins. Flowers appear in dense corymbs;
corollas measure approximately 3mm in diameter, and the floral tubes
slightly swell on one side. Corollas measure as large as 3mm across;
stamens are 3 in number, long, and pop out of the corollas. Bloom
time: May-July. |
