Vicia tetrasperma is
a biennial herb found on roadsides or fields; a leaf consists of
8-12 leaflets of 1.2-1.7cm in length, 2-4mm in width, each lobe
being in a long oblong shape. Flowers, light blue-purple, 5-7mm in
length, 1-3 in number, set themselves on flower stalks that emerged
from a leaf axil. Fruit (legume) measures 1-1.5cm in length. Bloom
time: April-May. |
