Viola grypoceras is
a perennial herb commonly found in grasslands, fields, mountains,
and along roadsides, from sea level to high altitudes. Stems are
5-15cm in height during bloom time, but after, flowers grow up to
around 30cm in height. Heart-shaped leaves also become significantly
larger, growing from approximately 2cm to twice their original size.
Flowers are generally light purple, with numerous variations, and
the petals measure 1.2-1.5cm in length. Bloom time: April-May. |
