Viola japonica is
a perennial viola species inhabiting sunny places around residences,
cultivated lands, or roadsides, measuring 5-10cm in height. Bearing
in a bundle at the bases, Leaves are 6-12cm in length in the
flowering season, becoming more significant in the summertime; in a
long oval shape, the tips are sharp. Flowers vary, ranging from
whitish to light red-purple, with petals measuring 6-8mm in length,
and lips have prominent lines. Bloom time: March-May. |
