Viola japonica
is a perennial species that inhabits sunny areas around residences,
cultivated lands, or roadsides, reaching a height of 5-10cm. Bearing
a bundle at the base, Leaves are 6-12cm long in the flowering
season, becoming more prominent in the summertime; in a long, oval
shape, the tips are sharp. Flowers vary, ranging from whitish to
light red-purple, with petals measuring 6-8mm in length and lips
having prominent lines. Bloom time: March-May. |
