It occurs in a village, such as a
roadside or a bank; Viola japonica f. albida is a
white form of its original species, Viola japonica, with no
terrestrial stems. The leaves are round to some extent and 2-6cm
long, in the shape of a long-triangular to long ovate with
white-cloudy green. Some grow hairs all over. Flowers are white,
measuring 1.5-2 cm in diameter, with cylindrical and somewhat long
spurs, and they open so that the pistil may be well visible from
outside. Bloom time: March-May. |
