Viola patrinii var. angustifolia
is a perennial herb found in grasslands in high mountainous regions.
It is smaller than its elemental species,
Viola patrinii,
and measures 8-10cm in height during bloom time. Leaves, narrow and
the bases wedge-shaped, petioles more extended than the blades,
stand straight upwards, mostly positioned at a higher level than the
flowers. Flowers are white, and the side petals have hairs at the
bases. Bloom time: May-June. |
