Viora verecunda is
a perennial wild violet commonly inhabiting damp grasslands in
fields and mountains; stems feel soft, diagonally elongating to
5-20cm in height. Leaves are heart-kidney-shaped, measuring 2-4cm in
width, and the bottom sides are purplish. Flowers are white, as
small as 0.8-1cm in length; the side petals have hairs in lower
portions, and lips are prominent with purple stripes. Bloom time:
April-June. |
