Viola violacea is
a perennial wild viola found in sunny locations in fields and hills.
The leaves, the length of 5-8cm, growing diagonally upwards in a
triangular oblong-ovate shape, vary in color from green to dark
green, and the backside is purplish. Either of the upsides or bottom
has no hairs. Flowers,1.5cm in diameter, are light red to dark
red-purple, the side petals hairless, rarely with hairs at the
bases, the spurs are slender, 5-6mm long, the ends bending upwards.
