Viola x inouei /

|
|
Viola x inouei is a natural
hybrid between V. ovato-oblonga and V. obtusa. The
radical leaves are cordate to oval-cordate, like V. obutusa.
Meanwhile, leaves on stems vary, going up from ovate-cordate to
ovate-triangle, longed triangle, and up to triangular-lanceolate,
and going similar to V. ovato-oblonga. The peduncles have
short hairs, which is another similarity to V. obutusa.
Flowers are light purple-red to red-purple. Bloom time: March-May.
