Viola
yedoensis is a perennial herb with a height of 4-8cm,
inhabiting residential areas or roadsides where it is sunny and
somewhat dry, the whole feeling hairy. In bloom time, measuring
3-6cm in length, leaves are ovate-lanceolate, the margins wavy.
Flowers are dark purple, around 1.5cm in diameter, and dark purple
spurs. Bloom time: March-May.
