Viola yezoensis is a
perennial viola species, 5-12cm in height, in the shape of a
long-oval to -triangle, the tips pointed, the bases
heart-shaped. Flowers, measuring around 2cm in diameter, are white,
with the side petals and spurs having fine purple stripes. The side
petals generally have hairs at the bases. Bloom time: April-May.
