Phedimus aizoon var. floribundus is
a perennial herb with a 20-50cm height, inhabiting sandy soil or
rocks in coastal areas, grasslands, or forest edges in mountainous
regions. Leaves are of alternate phyllotaxis, ranging from broad-obovate
to broad-oblanceolate, with obtuse serrations on the upper half of
the margins. The stem tops bear ternate cymes with many yellow
flowers with five petals. Bloom time: May-August. |
