Prunella vulgaris ssp. asiatica is
a perennial herb 10-30cm tall, growing in grasslands or on roadsides
in fields and mountains. Leaves are of opposite phyllotaxis, in the
shape of a 2-5cm long oblong-like lanceolate. Stem tips give birth
to inflorescences and densely set purple labiate flowers. As
flowering ends, runners extend themselves from the stem bases. Bloom
time: June-August. |
