Ageratina lavenia,
occurring in wetlands or at the water's edges, is a perennial herb
with a height of 0.3-1m. Leaves with long petioles have opposite
phyllotaxis; blades are 4-20cm long, 3-12cm wide, in an ovate to
long oblong shape, with obtuse serrations on margins. The stem's
upper parts branch well and bear 5-8 mm-diameter flower heads at the
tips. Involucres are hemispherical, and the involucral bracts bend
back after the flower. Bloom time: September-November. |
