Bupleurum stenophyllum is a 30-70cm tall perennial
herb occurring on seashores to grasslands in mountainous regions.
Leaves measure 4-15cm long, forming a linear to long lanceolate
shape. Branch tips bear small compound umbels, each bearing small
yellow flowers. Involucral bracts and involucels are slender and
short. The fruit is approximately 3mm long and spherical, and the
ridges are somewhat solid in vein type. Bloom time: August-October. |
